Daegal Brain

Daegal is a good friend of mine from my time in London, having seen Daegal play in Ibiza and London he is one of the most unique DJ's you could ever get to hear.

I think this quote sums him up very well:

"Daegal is definitely one of the most talented trance DJs on the scene, but it is his versatility and flexibility in playing the right set for the moment that really makes him stand out from the crowd. A DJ with the ability, dedication and integrity to go all the way."

His personal site is www.daegalbrain.com

Podcast - Moderate Stimulation

podcast-icon.gif

A 3hr long mix here for you, starting with a few tunes bordering on leftfield/chillout and ramping up into some progressive sounds later on with a bit of electro thrown in. With such a lot of good music out there at present, it just had to be this long...I hope you enjoy it!

Podcast - Synthesized Society

podcast-icon.gif

A new progressive mix at last! This mix is another somewhat introspective blend of progressive trance, prog house, breaks and a just a dash of electro. Starting off with a few trance influenced breaks and very gradually gaining a bit of intensity as the mix progresses...oh and as you can tell by the artwork...there is abit of a theme to whole thing as well... I hope you like it!

Podcast - Diminuendo

podcast-icon.gif

Daegel is back in the New Year with a stunning mix that really goes to show he's the master (plus it gives him a chance to show off his new mixer..)

DaegalBrain_Diminuative.jpgHere's Deagal on the new set:

I've always found doing mixes to be a direct reflection of my current mood. Once the dust settles new years is always a bit of a time to take a step back and think about what went on last year and what I'd like to have happen in the next year.

This mix sums it up really! This mix features mostly progessive trance and a bit of tech house, it's exciting to see so many great tunes around at the moment and I've suffered a massive injection of passion as a result, I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Daegals Guest Mix from XI

podcast-icon.gif

203227-232054-thumbnail.jpg
Oakenfold Flyer. November 2005
A strong breaks mix with with a bit of an old school flavour in places and plenty of energy all round.

Introducing: XI! "It all started with Paul Oakenfold's Resident CD. The inspiration that led me to where I find myself today. After collecting records for 7 years, learning my trade in my bedroom I finally decided to take my sound out of the studio and on to the london bar / club scene. I'm still learning my way but loving every minute of it."
